About A Martin Veterinary Physiotherapy

Alex qualified with a Post Graduate diploma (distinction) in Veterinary Physiotherapy from Nottingham Vet School, UK in 2019. Prior to this she completed an honors degree in Bioveterinary Science (Hartpury College) and a foundation degree in Animal Science and Management (The Royal Agricultural University). Associations/Key Information:

Alex is a full practicing member of IRVAP (The Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists) and also has full insurance that covers her business and ensures your animals are treated safely. In accordance with The Veterinary Surgeons (Exemptions) Order 2015 - it is essential that Alex works under initial referral from your vet - this is to ensure that a team approach is taken when providing the best possible care for your animal, and that appropriate diagnoses have been met.

Further Experience/Interests:

Alongside her studies she worked for several years in a pet shop, focusing on nutritional sales. Alex is particularly interested in nutrition, and aims to explore this further with her physiotherapy business in the future. Alex has a range of experience from working in mixed animal veterinary practices, conservation, riding school, and exotic species (she has even completed marine life rescue courses!).
